One of the best parts of late summer is the dragonflies. I was relaxing out back and saw it zing across the yard towards me....so big, I thought it was a bird. It screeched to a halt level with my face about 2 feet from my head and just froze there....looking at me while I looked at him. I said. you're freaking me out, and he was gone. But I will never forget that connection.

This beautiful fish peers up at you from just below the surface of the water. He seems happy. Why wouldn't he be? He's a fish. You swim, you eat, you rest. Ahhhh. He is called a Gosanke Komaku koi fish. He has orange, red and yellow markings. Just beautiful.

This clock is designed from a photo of my friends frog pond. She makes frog noises at them and they talk back. In frog language of course. So we're not sure what they're saying. They're probably telling her some really good jokes, and she's not getting it. I read somewhere frogs are really big joke-tellers.
