NUMBERS ADDED FREE by request to any clock which does not feature numbers or bubbles. Little by little, we are working to change over all designs to be numbered instead of dotted or bubbled. If the clock you want has nothing on the outside edge, and you want numbers, we will gladly add them for the asking. I can't remove what is already painted around the outside, but I can easily add.

These whimsical and in some cases, realistic, american made hand painted clocks are made from reused 12” LP record albums. It is just one thing we do at Bearly Art, that helps save a precious resource from ending up in a landfill. Ed Begley would be proud. Bearly Art green home décor wall clocks are battery operated and have a hanger on the back of the mechanism. Whether you want to call them recycled, up-cycled, re-purposed or reused, buying Bearly Art recycled clocks helps reduce the need for more and more things being made in factories (unfortunately in China). Bearly Art clocks are lightweight, and durable. Because they are made from vinyl records, we recommend that you do not leave them in hot sun as they will warp.

Bearly Art has many designs for adults and children. Each and every charming kids or adults clock is painted with acrylic and/or house paint and sealed with water base polyurethane. If you don’t see the clock design you’re looking for in my store, send me a photo, and I will let you know if I can do it, and give you the price. I have been told my prices for custom projects is very low; generally only a few dollars more than the similar item in stock. Once we have ironed out the details, I will list your clock in my etsy store especially for you. This is for your protection, kind of like a receipt. If your clock is ordered through paypal, that is along the same lines. I do it this way because as a consumer, I am leery about spending on web sites. Who are web site owners answerable to? On this site, you have paypal protection.

I have been selling my clocks on Ebay and Etsy since March 2008. I have over 4000 positive feedbacks as chattergirl427 on Ebay and 100% positive feedback on Etsy for the year and a half that I have had that particular store open.

I love to paint, and love challenges. If all you have is an idea for a clock, I am pretty creative, and love to put together concept pieces. If you have an idea for a shape, other than round records, I can make your clock from masonite. I also try to always have a few 10" records in stock for those of you who need a smaller clock.
Personalization using just one name is free. Most clocks can be personalized.

Can I do quantity deals? Yes. This is the Bearly Art wholesale showroom. You may find them elsewhere, but you won't find them cheaper. Here in this virtual showroom, our unique, earth friendly clocks are sold at wholesale prices with suggested retail prices on clocks being $24.99-39.99 depending on style and location of point of sale. Buy 5 to 9 clocks, we ship free, buy 10 or more, we ship free plus give 10% off.

All in-stock clocks ship within 4 days. I ship on Tuesdays and Fridays. Items paid on Tuesday ship on Friday, items paid on Friday ship on Tuesday. In order to have clocks ready to ship, I paint quantities every time I paint. I do my best to make sure the copies are accurate to the photo shown, however, sometimes, there may be tiny variations.
Shipping is set at 9.50 by priority mail with confirmation for the lower 48 states for one clock.

Background/Bio: When I was a young bear, I graduated from GMHS (Granby Memorial High School in Granby, Connecticut) Class of 1975. I took business courses, and every art course offered there, till I had taken them all. I then had "independent study", which meant I just had to turn in X amount of paintings per semester. At the time, I was very in to watercolors, but bears like to lick watercolor paint, so I have since been won over by acrylics. My art teacher was Charlotte Moody, whom I loved. She was/is very talented, and taught me to paint big among other things, of course. Besides being limited as to how big you can paint, the clocks come with a challenge....dealing with the hole in the middle. It makes portraits next to impossible unless you actually want clock hands on the person's forehead or nose, or you can live with the face off to one side or at the top. However, for most artwork, I have figured out how to make the records become the perfect canvas, especially for someone with a short attention span. I love to look at the collection on the walls of my cave, where I keep the original to each clock design.

When you receive your American made (not imported from China) Bearly Art eco-friendly wall clock, it will be set at 12:00. Insert an AA battery, not included, and use your finger or the little wheel to dial the long hand around clockwise till the correct time is reached.
