This clock design came from a flooring advertisement if memory serves...and I don't count on it. The little dog was so cute peeking up that I just had to put it on a clock. I see dogs all the time that I want to paint. It's hard to do them all. I have to pace myself. This one is special to me, because it was my first.

One of the best parts of late summer is the dragonflies. I was relaxing out back and saw it zing across the yard towards me....so big, I thought it was a bird. It screeched to a halt level with my face about 2 feet from my head and just froze there....looking at me while I looked at him. I said. you're freaking me out, and he was gone. But I will never forget that connection.

This clock is designed from a photo of my friends frog pond. She makes frog noises at them and they talk back. In frog language of course. So we're not sure what they're saying.
